TAMERA GOLDEN
Well, I always wanted a drum set but my mom had me take clarinet lessons instead. So in my 7th and 8th grade year I played the clarinet. In my 9th grade year, I played the oboe. Finally in my 10th grade year my mom got me a used drum set and I been going ever since. Thanks to the horn lessons I am able to read and write music. That being said I have been playing drums for 40+ years.
I have been in bands in the 70's and 80's. The biggest was a band called Overload. I was out of the scene for awhile until I played the drums at my friends neighbors' house. Yep, she got her cell phone out and put me on Facebook to which an all girl band was looking for a drummer. Well, I had to go out and buy a drum set and we played a few gigs until one of the band members got cancer. I was out of the scene for a little while.
I joined an all-original band called Tinfoil and was with them about 2 years. I found out original bands just wasn't playing as much as the cover bands so, I left and little by little I formed the classic rock band Flash Starr.
We are a WIP (Work In Progress) but all in all we will "ROCK" your butt off.
